Witbe, a leader in quality of experience monitoring, has announced the opening of its UK office. The new office will be a subsidiary in the UK. Along with the new office opening, Witbe and one of its partners - Phoenix Datacom - has announced that a significant British operator has selected Witbe’s QoE monitoring platform for one of the largest TV monitoring project in Europe.
Already actively involved in the UK for many years through different partners, Witbe took the strategic decision to take things further with the opening of this new subsidiary: Witbe Ltd. Located in London, this new office will enable the company to be closer to its British customers. It will be the sixth office for the company, after Paris (headquarters in France), New York and Denver in the US, Montreal in Canada, and Singapore in Asia. This new office will have a team of sales, engineers, pre-sales, and projects managers. The official inauguration of this new office, located in Kentish Town in the north of London, will be celebrated on 6 June 2018 with British clients and partners.
Witbe, in collaboration with Phoenix Datacom, has also won a record-breaking contract with one the biggest UK operators. The customer will now be able to monitor the quality of experience delivered to its clients from end-to-end on its network - when an error is found, the client will be able to take control of its service through the Witbe Remote Eye Controller (REC) in real time, in real operational conditions.
John Carson, managing director of Phoenix Datacom, said: “We are really proud of this partnership with Witbe, and this record-breaking project is proof of our successful collaboration. We are convinced that Witbe’s vision of monitoring - through real end-user devices - and their technologies clearly address the needs of English companies. And with Witbe’s new UK office, we will also be able to better serve our joint customers.”
Marie-Véronique Lacaze, president and CEO of Witbe, added: “This new location in the UK and the signature of this outstanding contract in Europe definitely reassures Witbe in its dynamic growth for 2018. We are now reaping the benefits of the work we started when we entered the stock market. Witbe is increasingly becoming a key reference on an international level.”
